Our story began in May of 2000. Steve and I met at a salon where he was working as a hairstylist and I as a make-up artist. Soon we started dating, and not long after that we were engaged. In the winter of 2002, a series of events led us in the direction of opening our own salon.

With few funds and even less business experience, we decided to move forward anyway. We allowed our faith, determination, and drive to pave the way to success.

Blush opened on February 14, 2002. At that time, we had two employees, two hair stations, a make-up counter, and carpeted floors!

With each day came obstacles and hardships that turned into valuable lessons not only in business, but in life as well. Because of those hardships, we learned what it takes to run a successful business and build a strong partnership.

Over the course of 16 years, we expanded and remodeled our original salon four times and, when a new opportunity presented itself in 2018, Blush moved to a new, larger location in the same community. Since its modest beginnings, Blush has transformed into an elegant, high-end salon featuring 12 hair stations, state-of-the-art equipment, a cosmetic line, a freelance company, and a staff of 15 wonderful and creative people.

We are forever grateful to our staff, friends, and family—and above all to our loyal clients—who have supported us throughout the years and played such an important role in our story. We continue to work hard each day and strive to deliver on-trend, impeccable beauty services paired with warm, personal customer service for many years to come.
